There’s a movement afoot in Washington to ban free speech throughout the country. Liberals, rise up and defend our right from those censorship loving, no good Repub…wait…Democrats?

I’m calling all liberals who have fought for free speech over the past 40 years. Bear your rhetorical arms and stand up for the Voltairian right to say foolish things. We need you, liberals. Please, come to our rescue.

Liberal social critic and feminist Camilla Paglia agrees:

What are my fellow Democrats doing? They’ve totally betrayed the soul of the party to even mention this.  Every true liberal Democrat should be speaking up in defense of talk radio, no matter how heinous [it is]….THis is immature for ppl of one pol party to try to quell and erase the talk of another….Liberals have a stranglehold on the major media…the universities…what more do liberals want?
